Good news: in most cases, it's not necessary!

• For bio-based materials:

No waterproofing is required.
Our bio-based materials are naturally waterproof and highly resistant to everyday moisture.

• For models containing abaca fabric

No worries here either: the fabric is already treated with a waterproof coating.

• For models made from bio-based materials with a suede finish 
  (e.g. GEN1 – Pineapple Green & Yellow Suede)

As a precaution, you can apply a regular waterproof spray suitable for synthetic or vegan materials. It’s not mandatory, but it can enhance their protection.
